Defamation suits to keep Rahul Gandhi busy

NEW DELHI: Rahul Gandhi You may have to appear before at least five different courts across the country this month to defend the statements you made against BJP and RSS while campaigning for LS polls.

He is scheduled to appear before a court in Mumbai, along with the head of CPM, on July 4 in response to a defamation complaint for linking the murder of activist Gauri Lankesh with the BJP-RSS ideology.

Rahul will appear before the Patna court on July 6 in connection with a defamation case brought against him by Deputy Prime Minister Sushil Kumar Modi for asking why all thieves have Modi as their title (surnames).

Rahul will appear before a court in Ahmedabad on July 9 for his murder reference accused to the head of BJP Amit Shah While on July 12 he will appear before another Gujarat court in criminal defamation lawsuits filed by the Cooperative Bank of the Ahmedabad District and its president. On July 24, Rahul is scheduled to appear before a court in Surat, for allegedly defaming the entire Modi community by saying that all modis are thieves.
