Happy and rainy streets for Lucknow!
Even the rains could not prevent people from participating in the Happy streets held on Sunday at Chatori Gali in Gomti Nagar . An initiative of The times from india and Navbharat Times , Happy streets started with city folk doing some warm-up exercises under the showers.
People of all ages indulged in various athletic activities. “It’s a pleasant morning and Happy streets is an amazing initiative to bring city folk together and enjoy time away from gadgets,” said Dhruv, an entrepreneur. A group of about 15-20 people were seen running, doing push-ups and just enjoying the lovely weather. “The weather is so awesome today. In fact main toh apna rain coat bhi laya hoon to have fun even when it rains,” said an excited Ritesh, a collegian.

Yoga was followed by an aerobics session headed by Satendra. Despite the rain people were seen enjoying the fitness activities planned for them. “ Happy streets is the perfect way to rediscover the simple pleasures of enjoying just about any thing, irrespective of how old or young you are,” said Jennifer, a newlywed.
