Congress MPs, SP give zero-hour warnings in Rajya Sabha

NEW DELHI: Members of Parliament (MP) of Congress and Samajwadi party (SP) on Wednesday gave Zero Hour notices on several issues.

Congressman Ripun Bora and Rajya Sabha legislator gave zero-hour notice in the Upper House of Parliament on the privatization of 64 oil fields and narco-terrorism in Punjab, respectively.

Meanwhile, SP legislator Jaya bachchan He gave a zero-hour notice on Rajya Sabha regarding the safety of women and children.

Zero hour refers to the immediately following time in both houses of Parliament. During this hour, parliamentarians can raise matters of great importance without the mandatory notice ten days in advance.

The first parliamentary session of the 17th. Lok Sabha which began on June 17 will culminate on July 26.
