The leaders of the Ju0026K Congress meet with Rahul Gandhi and discuss the next assembly polls
NEW DELHI: The head of Jammu and Kashmir (JKPCC) Ghulam Ahmed Mir, along with other state leaders, met with the party president Rahul Gandhi at his residence here on Monday and discussed the upcoming elections of the assembly.
The delegation discussed the current scenario and the reasons behind the defeat of Congress in the state, said Mir.
The leaders also asked Rahul Gandhi to make necessary changes desired by him without any hesitation.
Apart from Mir, Ghulam Nabi Azad , Ambika soni and some other Lok Sabha candidates were also present at the meeting.
This comes as the first meeting between the state unit and the party president after the general elections.
