There is no intention to overthrow the government of Kamal Nath, says the head of MP BJP

BHOPAL: One day after the CM. Kamal Nath dared BJP To overthrow its government, the party said on Sunday it has no intention of destabilizing the congressional government, which will fall on its own.

Making a scathing attack on the Nath government, BJP state president Rakesh Singh said Congress was crippled by intense lobbying and differences over issues related to cabinet expansion and appointment of a new state chief.

Kamal Nath is facing pressure within the party after the debacle in the recent Lok Sabha elections. By naming BJP, I've been trying to intimidate his own MLAs and ministers to overcome the differences in the party, he said.

Demand for leadership change in Congress state unit after party's rout in the recent LS polls has gathered momentum. Nath's statement is irrelevant as BJP had clarified its unwillingness to topple the Congress government. But, the CM's statement is an attempt to mislead the public, Singh told TOI. On Saturday, Nath had said: If BJP has guts, it should try and topple my government. Why is it resorting to frequent threats? Are they showing mercy on my government or what?
