NEW DELHI: A Delhi District Court Extended Monday To May 30 The Provisional Protection Of Former Foreign Minister P Chidambaram And His Son Karti In Aircel Maxis Cases By CBI And ED.

Special Judge O P Saini Extended Protection After Senior Lawyer A M Singhvi, Who Applied For The Chidambarams, Applied In This Regard.

The Request Was Submitted After Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, Appearing In Front Of The Agencies, Needed More Time To Complete The Probe.

The Case Relates To Alleged Irregularities In The Granting Of (FIPB) Approval In The Aircel-Maxis Deal.
