Pandav Goenda will adapt to the small screen

Nothing can beat a love for detective stories. The suspense as the story unfolds and the climax can give you the emotion that no other story can. Well, Bengal has a special appetite for detective stories. Be Feluda, Byomkesh , Kiriti, Mashi rally or Pandav Goenda , we have a line of heroes who can solve any case with their magajastra.

Keeping that in mind, a leading Bengali television channel is set to launch a TV show on famous ‘Pandav Goenda’, written by Sasthipada Chattopadhyay . Bablu , Bilu, Bachchu, Bichchu, Bhombol, Ponchu and their roller coaster ride have made childhood beautiful. Now, the characters will be seen on the small screen.

The show will soon be launched. It will star a young and fresh cast. Young actor Rob Dey will play Bablu's character.

Rob has a theatrical background and has done web-based project. Since past few years rumors were rife that ‘Pandav Goenda’ will be adapted for a TV series. A number of production houses wanted to make a TV series based on the stories of Bablu, Bilu, Bachchu, Bichchu, Bhombol and their four legged friend Ponchu. But none of the projects finalized until now.

Well, the release date has yet to be announced by the channel. But the first promo has left the audience quite curious about the upcoming show.
