Krishnakoli tops TRP charts; Sreemoyee bags second place
This week's TRP charts are available and the Bengali TV series Krishnakoli ’Has bagged the number one spot this week. Right after ‘Krishnakoli’, there is the family-drama ‘Sreemoyee’. June and Sreemoyee The showdown seems to have worked in the show's favor.
Well, both shows are being broadcast at the same time on two rival Bengali general entertainment channels and the creators are doing their best to bring the episodes to life with consecutive twists. The adjustments and changes, as well as the hard work of the team members, have paid off.
Team ‘Krishnakoli’ is elated by the success. The cast and crew have been working hard despite facing odds posed by the pandemic. Recently, two actors from the team, Neel Bhattacharya aka Nikhil and Vivaan Ghsoh aka Ashok tested positive for COVID-19. They have been shooting from home.
On the other hand, team ‘Sreemoyee’ continued shooting even after facing hurdles. Ushasie Chakraborty , who is playing the character June in 'Sreemoyee', also suffered a personal loss. Her father and veteran politician Shyamal Chakraborty passed away recently. He was tested COVID-19 positive. Being a thorough professional, Ushasie didn’t allow her show to get affected.
Returning to the TRP charts, Mohor has taken third place, while Rani Rashmoni is in fourth position. While Mohor's story is about Shankhadeep and Mohor's relationship, the period drama Rani Rashmoni revolves around the problems Rashmoni faces. New program Jamuna Dhaki, starring Rubel das and Sweta Bhattacharya, managed to clinch fifth position this week.
