Woman with Covid-19 gives birth in Navi Mumbai

THANE: A 35-year-old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19, gave birth to a healthy baby girl in a Navi Mumbai hospital, authorities said.

The woman tested positive for the disease in week 36 of her pregnancy, and a multidisciplinary team from the Covid task force at the private hospital said they meticulously meticulously planned their treatment and delivery plans.

After delivery, samples from the mother and child were sent for tests that tested negative for the coronavirus and were released on Tuesday, hospital authorities said in a statement.
