Azam currently leads the batmen ranking in the shortest format in the game, while at ODI he sits in third place after the Indian duo of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Interestingly, Azam is the only Pakistani hitter to have appeared in the top ten rankings in all three formats. Reach fifth place in the test ranking. He played his last T20I game against Bangladesh before the coronavirus pandemic suspended play worldwide.
