Yogi Adityanath government to create new employment and investment agency

LUCKNOW: The government plans to establish a new investment promotion and facilitation agency that will focus on attracting new investments and creating jobs.

Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath will head the new agency and the ministers for industrial development and MSMEs will be the vice presidents of the new agency.

According to the chief secretary for industrial development, a proposal in this regard had been received from 'Invest India', a central government agency, and the new agency built on this.

Experts from various fields will be members of the agency that will work to attract new investments and ensure job creation.

The state government has already assured migrant workers who have returned to form other states that they will be provided employment opportunities here.

Yogi Adityanath, since taking office as Chief Minister in March 2017, has been working for the development of the state. The crown crisis, however, can affect foreign investment and, therefore, the state government is working for national investment.
