Thiago Alcántara to extend Bayern Munich contract: reports

MUNICH: Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara it's the last Bayern Munich star to extend his contract, according to German media reports on Tuesday.

German newspaper Bild and Sport Bild magazine say the 29-year-old will join Thomas Mueller , Alphonso Davies and head coach Hansi Flick who are already committed to defense Bundesliga champions

With one year remaining on his original contract, Bild says a new deal has been agreed and Bayern will announce the length of Alcantara's new contract over the course of the week.

The midfielder and central player has scored 31 goals in 227 appearances for Bayern since joining Barcelona in 2013.
