Terrorists had taken AK-47 from murdered CRPF men in Handwara
SRINAGAR: Terrorists who attacked staff and killed three of them and a disabled civilian in Wangam village, Kashmir, had escaped on Monday with two AK-47 assault rifles taken from the murdered men of the 92nd CRPF Battalion.
The attackers claimed to belong to a little-known team called The Resistance Front, a branch of the Lashkar-e-Taiba.
A disabled 14-year-old boy was also killed in the attack.
The investigation is ongoing, an officer said, and answered affirmatively when asked if the militants had fled with two service weapons taken from the CRPF men who died in the shooting.
Meanwhile, the police have filed a case regarding the terrorist attack.
The CRPF Special Director General, who visited the area on Tuesday, said security forces continue to dominate militant organizations.
