Mumbai: 33 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Dharavi
MUMBAI: reported 33 new ones on Tuesday, which was a drop compared to cases reported in the past two days. On Tuesday, of the 33 new cases, the majority were reported in areas such as Dharavi, 90 feet highway, Indira Nagar, New Municipal Fight, Social Nagar, Mukund Nagar and Madina Nagar. BMC officials said that of the total 665 cases reported so far, 196 patients have been discharged. Meanwhile, more than 2,000 people have also been quarantined in various centers established by the BMC in the town. The BMC also prepared 1,000 more beds in a private school, namely the Vidyalaya by Manohar Joshi in Dharavi which became a quarantine center.
Meanwhile, the Mahim area was seen to report nine positives on Tuesday, bringing the total number of positive cases in the locality to 80, while Dadar reported two new cases that were from Ram Maruti Road and Padmabai Thakkar Marg, bringing the number total cases to 56.
