During these difficult times, he said, we have been working closely with FIND to distribute test kits to public and private health laboratories in India. We believe that providing assistance through such initiatives is also one of the best ways to support our true heroes - the healthcare community that is fighting on the front line against COVID-19.

FIND India Chief Sanjay Sarin said the sheer size of India and the density of urban populations increase the challenges and complexity of expanding test capacity quickly and efficiently.

Testing is our first line of defense against this pandemic, and today it is actionable, he said, adding that private sector associations such as PepsiCo India are critical to making COVID-19 testing available to all who need it.
