Army team in operation J&K loses contact

SRINAGAR: Two army officers, two soldiers and a police officer reportedly lost with their equipment during a fierce encounter with Pakistanis in the Kupwara district area of ‚Äč‚Äčnorthern Kashmir on Saturday.

Communication contact with security personnel was lost for quite some time after they entered a home during the encounter that started around 3.45 p.m. However, there was no official news from the Army or J&kpoliceabouttheencounteruntillateatnight.
