NEW DELHI: It is an integral part of the limited configuration of India, but spinner Kuldeep Yadav has revealed how then coach Anil Kumble He had told her that he had to choose five wickets while informing the young man that he would make his debut against Australia in Dharamsala.

Speaking to Cricbuzz on his YouTube show Spicy Pitch, Kuldeep recalled the Kumble episode informing him that he would receive his trial cap the next day while having lunch. I am thrilled when I remember my test debut in Dharamsala. The most important thing for me at the time was how to act. I remember that one day before the game, Anil SeƱor came to me and said 'you will play tomorrow, you have to take 5 wickets', he said.

So, I stopped for a second, and then I thought, 'yes sir, I will collect 5 wickets'. (Laxman) Sivaramakrishnan sir gave me my trial cap. He gave me some advice, I don't remember what, since he was completely blank at the time.

I felt a lot of pressure, I was really nervous. I felt it was a great stage, how am I going to perform here? But then I did a few laps before lunch and I felt relaxed. I decided to play it. like it's a Ranji Trophy match. Cricket test It has always been very close to my heart.

Kuldeep recently spoke about the influence of the former boss Ms dhoni in his career and said that the goalkeeper even compensated his childhood coach, as they both thought alike.

I can't pick up just one, as there are plenty (when asked about Dhoni's instructions behind the stumps). He always used to tell me 'ko ball to spin karana hai (you have to spin the ball) instead of bowling' This used to remind me of my coach. It's the best thing I heard from Dhoni and that's why I never felt like I missed my coach, Kuldeep said in a video uploaded to a sports app.
