#LockdownCreativity: Bangla band gets creative after video recording of their single

Ace bands have been releasing their song releases while devising innovative ways to use technology in their creation and compilation. Goshai Gang was working on his latest single, Jontro Na Manush, when the closure was announced across India due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The audio was almost done, but the video shoot was stalled. “We were planning to shoot the video when the lockdown happened,” said Saurav Chattopadhyay , main vocalist and lyricist of the song.

the band immediately changed their plan and roped in Reeshabh, who was working with the band as a video grapher, to produce the video for this song. the video has now been stitched with various concert clips, which were there in the band ’s archive. “Initially, we waited for some time for the situation to improve. However, with each passing day, we understood that it would take a long time for things to get back to normal,” said Arijit, the bassist.

Swagato (guitarist) and Sayantan (keyboardist) both echoed similar thoughts. They think their fans will love the energy of this song as it musically revisits the spirit of rock ‘n roll like the band ’s earlier single Maya. “This song asks a simple question to everyone. What do you want to become, a human being or a machine?” explained Saurav.

the audio recording and mixing has been done by Anindit Roy like he does for all other Goshai Gang songs. “We really want everyone to enjoy our new song and request everyone to stay at home and stay healthy in these tough times,” shared Dipayan, the drummer of the band .
