Wi-Fi installation on campus feels like a real blessing now: South African student Ruvimbo Nokuthula Majoni
South African student Ruvimbo Nokuthula Majoni from South Africa, a BSc senior. (Microbiology) at Parul University in Vadodara says that while the blockade has been a challenge, she is managing to cope with the restrictions well. She shares: “I had been preparing for the exams and therefore returning to South Africa was never an option. Covid-19's rapid spread and crash came as a completely unexpected development, and nothing can prepare you for something like this. It can be quite depressing and installing Wi-Fi on campus feels like a real blessing now. Talking to my family on video calls is part of the daily routine now. ” She adds: “I feel safe in the shelter, where all the security measures are followed and all our basic needs are taken care of well. My Indian friends also keep in touch and ask about my well-being every day. We are having online classes and in addition to reading, I keep busy exercising.
