Vadinamma Prabhakar actor admits blocking extension; ask everyone to be happy at home and safe

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an extension of emergency shutdown until May 3 to stop the spread of Covid-19 in the country. Although the opinion on the extension is divided on social networks, Vadinamma actor Prabhakar supported the extension decision.

He took to his Instagram handle to share a picture of his and opined that the emergency shutdown has been extended and Modi’s decision has to be followed. He asked everyone to ‘happily stay home and be safe’.

He wrote: “Modi garu cheppyaru ... shut up ... anthe inko maata kuda ledu. Just happy stayhome stayafe ... (sic)

In his recent Instagram posts, Prabhakar has been encouraging fans to strictly stay indoors and follow all the essential precautionary measures. He has participated in the recent Covid-19 awareness video made by TV celebs which encourages everyone to act responsibly in this situation.

The popular TV presenter also shares photos from his home workout sessions.

Prabhakar is currently seen playing the male lead ‘Raghuram’ in the popular Telugu daily soap Vadinamma. He is paired opposite Sujitha, who is seen as Sita Mahalakshmi in the show. Vadinamma has been one of the top 5 most-watched Telugu daily soaps from a while. The show also features Mahi Shivan (as Sailu) Priya Naidu (as Siri), Raj (as Bharat), Rajesh Datta (as Laxman), Ganesh Reddy (as Nani) and others in pivotal roles.

Prabhakar is known for his performances in popular shows like Ruthuragalu, Muddu Bidda, Anna Chellellu, Antharangalu and has hosted successful non-fiction shows like Yahoo. Prabhakar along with his wife has recently appeared in Ohmkar’s TV show Ishmart Jodi .
