Covid-19: The death toll in Mumbai reaches 100; Cases count to 1549

MUMBAI: With 150 new cases found in Mumbai, its count crossed the 1,500 mark on Monday, while the death toll reached 100 in the financial capital, they said.

According to a BMC statement, 150 more people have tested positive in the past 24 hours, bringing the count to 1,549. Nine more have died in the city, raising their number to 100 so far, he said.

The civic corps said the total number of recovered patients shot up to 141 with 43 more people discharged from hospitals.
