NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation Tuesday at 10 a.m. m.
The 21 days across the country to curb the extension of the weekends on Tuesday and the prime minister is likely to talk about its possible extension.

Last month, the prime minister addressed the nation twice: on March 19 and 24.
On March 19, he had called for resolution and restraint to combat the coronavirus. He had also announced a 'janta curfew' on March 22, a Sunday.
On March 24, he announced the 21-day national shutdown to control the spread of the deadly virus.

In a video message on April 3, Modi had urged people to turn off the lights in their homes and light mobile phone lamps, candles, or torches for nine minutes at 9 p.m. on April 5 to show the collective resolution of the country to defeat coronaviruses.
