Actor Shashank Vyas He is not addicted to social networks. He says he decided not to make his personal life public by posting photos or tweeting private details.

All this time I have been accused of not being on social networks by my fans. I don't take social media seriously. It's kind of fun and I only use it to communicate with my fans, that too once a month, said the young actor.

One has the choice to be in it or not. I choose not to make my personal life public by posting photos or tweeting private details. It is an individual choice at the end of the day. Post everything online and then complain The invasion of privacy is somewhat hypocritical, he added.

He feels that just as having a million followers will not affect his trade, in the same way having fewer followers will not affect his sleep, my health and my trade.

Through social networks, one only wants to seek social validation or flattery to feel good about themselves. In other words, everything is an illusory space. The key to happiness is in my pocket and not in someone else's hand, he said.

Meanwhile, Shashank said he has always tried to focus on his work and agrees that there might not be too many great roles.

Any experienced actor who, in the real sense, is passionate about acting, will not have a casual role. There is a great shortage of good writers. Right now, only supernatural shows are being done, which doesn't offer much to an actor in terms of creative satisfaction, he said.

Many fantastic actors say no due to a lack of good scripts. A script has to be so compelling that you listen to it once and know that you would like to be a part of it. If the role is well written on paper, then the actor has to be physically and mentally present and everything will be fine. The part in which an actor is not convinced is the logical part. Today's audience has many options to choose from with the myriad of shows to choose from and they won't just accept just about anything. The content has to be compelling, added the Balika Vadhu actor.
