Actor from 'Uyare' Asif Ali visited the community kitchen Organized by film employees in Kochi and extended their support to the team. The coronavirus outbreak and the following blockade have affected the daily lives of people around the world].

In Kerala, the state government announced to open community kitchen s in all the 14 districts across the state. The initiative aims to deliver food to the needy and thereby ensure a hunger-free lockdown is successfully running. People from the Malayalam film industry including producers Maha Climb Anto Joseph Joju George , Ashiq Usman , Bhadusha and Ichais Productions have set up a community kitchen in Kochi. And Asif Ali , one of the popular young actors in the industry paid a visit to the kitchen. The actor was accompanied by his wife Zama.

Asif Ali appreciated the team who are putting efforts towards a hunger-free state during the lockdown. Taking to his Facebook handle Asif wrote, “The community kitchen that kickstarted on March 27 providing food to about 200 people has now emerged big enough to distribute food to 3500 people, two times a day. Anto Joseph, Maha Climb , Joju George , Ashiq Usman , Bhadusha and Ichais Productions has begun this community kitchen . This has become a huge comfort for people who are struggling hard to get a meal. My wishes for the team.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Asif Ali was last seen in ‘Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha’ essaying Sleevachan. His performance was lauded by many including popular filmmaker Lal Jose. Asif will be next seen in ‘Kunjeldho’.
