Sonali Bendre recently posted a video on her social media account sharing a recipe for a smoothie that boosts immunity. She wrote: Now more than ever, we really realize how important it is to have strong immunity. While dealing with cancer, I did a lot of research on ways to improve my immune system. So I started this ritual and it has become a habit now, my #NewNormal. These steps are quite simple and have been tried and tested: I managed to avoid infection during my chemotherapy, and I think this was the secret formula. The video shows her with a glass of this healthy and delicious smoothie and her recipe that includes a mixture of vegetables, fruits and nuts, with ginger and turmeric. To make this smoothie recipe, you will need 1 apple, 1 carrot, 1 amla, 2-inch fresh turmeric, 2-inch ginger, 2 apricots, a handful of blueberries, and blueberries each, 7 almonds, cinnamon powder, 2 to 4 walnuts, 2 seedless dates and a handful of spinach. Blend all the ingredients in a jar. pour it into a glass and drink.
