Hima Das asks everyone to take COVID-19 more seriously
GUWAHATI: Ace Indian Sprinter Hima das urged everyone in his state to take the COVID-19 pandemic more seriously after Assam reported his first death due to the novel coronavirus on Friday. Assam 's total positive cases have gone up to 29, state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said.
Dear everyone in Assam, really sad to know that first death due to Covid-19 has been reported in our state. I request everyone to kindly take this pandemic more seriously. Barbhyan's swab sample tested positive Tuesday. He had a history of travel to Saudi Arabia. He recently returned home through Delhi.
