Exclusive! Jackky Bhagnani in ‘Muskurayega India’: I felt that there should be something that talks about hope today

Jackky Bhagnani He was home alone for the first time when the confinement forced his parents to stay in London. Making good use of quarantine time, Jackky selected an inspiring 'Muskuraega India' video with the help of many celebrities from the Bollywood . 'Muskuraega India' is co-curated by Akshay Kumar and introduces Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan , Kiara Advani , Kriti Sanon Ayushmann Khurrana Bhumi Pednekar along with Akshay and Jackky.

Sharing the idea behind the concept, Jackky said: “My parents are not with me, they got stuck in London before the shutdown happened. So he was alone and he was scared, like all of us. I came across the Michael Jackson We Are the World video and felt that there should be something similar that talks about hope today. So I contacted Vishal Mishra, we have worked together before, we talked about this song and once that happened, I contacted Akshay sir. He was also excited, he is always at the forefront of helping people and doing things. So that's where it all started.

Jackky received plentiful support from Bollywood for this song, which is composed and sung by Vishal Mishra. “I made calls to my friends in the fraternity and I must say that everyone unanimously said yes, at the drop of a hat. They all said they would love to help people, bring a smile on people’s faces and if all the revenues are going to charity then they definitely want to do it. That’s how it all happened. It is an initiative by all of us, it should be carried ahead by everyone and should be made into a national initiative, ”added the actor.

From Ayushmann to Bhumi to Vicky, all of B-town came together for this three-minute video that talks about hope in this health problem. “Everyone gets credit for this video while they filmed without a stylist, without makeup, filming with a selfie camera, or having someone who stays with them film it and send it to me. I shared it with the editor and we all worked together to do it. It is a collaborative effort of all, it turned out to be the orchestrator in uniting everyone. No one person can take credit for this alone, ”said Jackky. The actor is hopeful that they would not need another initiative and that the closure will end soon. Kura Muskurayega India is something that we want to take forward and try to raise more money through this song. I hope that this closure ends very soon and I do not have to carry out any more initiatives. I prefer that the country return to normal rather than me starting another initiative, Jackky concluded.
