Deepti Sati to play a happy girl at Lalitham Sundaram
After being part of the superhit driving license, actress Deepti Sati will be seen next in a major role in Madhu Wariar's directorial debut, Lalitham Sundaram .
Deepti says she is delighted to be part of the project, which also stars Manju Warrier and Biju Menon. “My character Simi is a happy-go-lucky person, who is also independent. She is from Kochi, but is based in Bengaluru. She is also the girlfriend of Anu Mohan’s character, who is Manju Warrier’s brother in the film. The story has her coming to a family and trying to understand their bond as an outsider, ”Deepti tells us.
Before closing, the team was shooting at Vandiperiyar and Deepti reveals: “The location there was a large house and the weather was good. The set was pretty laid back with Biju Menon Mister joking all the time. We filmed a song in the house and I had scenes combined with all of them.
Speaking about her role on the driver's license, Deepti says she was cornered when she looked like she was part of a Paavam girl. I had my apprehensions since it was not like any character I had played until then. She was a mature role as the sympathetic wife of a superstar, with whom she has a great emotional bond. Prithviraj sir was supportive during filming and his wife Supriya was also on set. Director Jean Paul was also very good, and everyone reassured me, ”says Deepti, adding that she was happy with the final product.
The actress is also part of a Kannada film and a Tamil romantic comedy titled Naanum Single Thaan.
