#WFH: Here are tips to refresh tired eyes
With the lock turned on and most people having to use WFH (work from home), they will surely look at your desktop, laptop or smartphone for several hours a day. One of the repercussions of this is tired eyes. But there are easy ways to get out of this that make use of the things available.
Using a spoon: This is a simple remedy, okay! Simply put a spoon in the refrigerator for 15 minutes in the freezer until it cools down. Remove and place the hollow part in your eyes. The cold begins to reduce swelling as it helps to constrict the blood vessels around the eyes.
Cold compress: The cold temperature works effectively to relax the eyes. Try an ice cube compress, placing a few ice cubes on a napkin and placing them around the eye to relieve puffiness.
Cucumber: Here is an instant remedy! Slice the cucumbers and place them on the eyelids. Cucumber acts as a cooling agent, reducing irritation and calming tired eyes.
Tea bags: Soak the tea bags in hot water and cool them down. Chill them in a fridge and place them on your eyes. The caffeine content in tea is said to help constrict blood vessels and reduce swelling.
Have less salt: Make sure you don't have too much salt, as this causes fluid retention and bloating.
