Mollywood actor Sasi Kalinga dies at 59

Mollywood actor and theater artist Sasi Kalinga He took his last breath in Kozhikode, in the early hours of Tuesday. He was 59 years old. According to sources, the actor was undergoing treatment for a liver-related illness.

The actor who entered show business in 2009 rose to fame with his appearance on Mammootty star 'Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha'. His police avatar impressed movie lovers and the actor's unique facial expressions helped him attract a lot of attention. Movies like 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint', 'Adaminte Makan Abu' and ' Amen ' earned him a lot of fame. His character Chachappan in ' Amen ' was much praised as the movie begins with the entry of Chachappan. His character in 'Amar Akbar Anthony' also added to his popularity. Primarily known for his comic characters, the actor also earned praise for a few supporting roles including the one in 'Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha'. With a career spanning only a decade, Sasi Kalinga 's reel life was quite eventful.

Sasi Kalinga is his stage name. His official name is V Chandrakumar. Sasi was a theater actor before entering the movies and is survived by his wife Prabhavati.
