Divyanka Tripathi, best known for playing Ishita's lead role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, was once part of the Ramayan new version (2012).

It may come as a surprise to fans of the actress, but it is true that she appeared on the show based on Hindu mythology, where the main roles were rehearsed by Gagan malik (Ram) and Neha Sargam (Sita)

Divyanka was seen as Chandradev disguised as Devi Apsara . The Ramayan remake ran for over a year and aired 56 episodes in total.
