I am sure Raja Shivchatrapati will inspire everyone, says Amol Kolhe
The popular historical series Raja Shivchatrapati, which was based on the king and warrior Maratha Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj everything is ready for a replay starting April 3. Dr Amol kolhe , who played the iconic character of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj On the daily soap opera, he shared his enthusiasm and in an exclusive chat with ETimes TV said: “I am really proud to be part of Raja Shivchatrapati. Raja Shivchatrapati was launched in 2009 and it was the first historical serial that entertained the audience after so many years. I am definitely feeling nostalgic. The book is also going to launch which is based on Raja Shivchatrapati and it's in the last phase. I am going to have a different experience while doing the translation of the book along with watching the serial, so it's really nostalgic for me. I am sure that this daily soap will inspire everyone in the lockdown period. If people are staying at home to watch the serial then I am really happy. People should follow the lockdown. The more will follow the lockdown, the more we become safe.
Hemant Devdhar had directed the series and it was produced by renowned art director Nitin Desai. The title song of the series is composed and sung by Ajay Atul. Besides Amol kolhe , Avinash Narkar played Shahajiraje Bhosle (Chatrapati's father), Mrinal Kulkarni played Jijamata (Chatrapati's mother) while Yatin Karyekar played (Aurangzeb).

The serial ' Raja Shivchhatrapati 'brought to the fore various aspects of the life of the warrior king Maratha. The series enjoyed a loyal audience and left a lasting impact on the audience. The show became a great success. It is considered as a trend marker for the Marathi small screen, as several other period dramas were released just after that.
