#LifeInTheLockdown: Shakti actress Jigyasa Singh says: I'm busier than usual at home
Jaipur girl Jigyasa Singh She is at her home in Mumbai, where she not only cooks for her parents and brother every day, but also begins to read.
I was struck the other day that Mumbai, the city of dreams, suddenly stopped. I went out to buy groceries and there were hardly any cars or pedestrians on the road. The world has been silent and Mumbai too, but this silence is not horrible. After years of listening to horns and other human-generated noise, I can finally hear the sound of birds!
Like everyone else, I keep myself busy with household chores. I find it funny when I hear some people say that they are bored. I don't have time to get bored. In fact, I'm busier than usual. But I have no complaints. It has given my mother a little rest. I have been cooking every day. Recently, I made a semolina cake. My family loved it so much that they asked me to do it again.
After finishing all the housework, I take care of my plants and watch movies. I had bought these plants to keep in my sets. But I brought them home since there will be no one to take care of them on sets. Thanks to this lock, I also started reading, even though I've never been an avid reader.
The way people help the poor and feed stray animals makes me feel that after this closure is over, we will see many more empathetic people. Right now, all we have to do is accept the situation we find ourselves in and not make things difficult for those who continually work to serve citizens.
All said and done, I can't wait to resume filming. I miss my castmates a lot and have been calling them on video almost daily. I've been watching all the episodes of my Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki show, including the TV broadcast (laughs).
