Markaz returned people to raise positive Covid-19 cases in Assam to 5

GUWAHATI: Four more have been reported in Assam on Wednesday in less than 20 hours after Silchar reported the first case on Tuesday night. Four more people from Assam also tested positive in New Delhi, where they are being treated, Assam's health minister said.

Each of these positive cases had gone to attend the Tablighi Markaz in Nizamuddin, Sarma said.

In all, 347 from the state were confirmed to have attended the Nizamuddin congregation. Sarma said so far the health department has been able to identify and locate 230 people.
