Ricky Kej joins Richard Curtis, Wagner Moura, on the jury of the WHO film festival

Grammy-winning musician and environmentalist Ricky Kej joins the jury for the first edition of the World Health Organization film festival, Health for All. For the theme, '2020, the International Year of Nurse and Midwife', the organization received 1,265 submissions from 119 countries, to be judged by a jury consisting of British film director Richard Curtis, the film production consultant for animation Patrick Eveno, West African singer and songwriter Angélique Kidjo, writer and film director Barbara Miller and Brazilian star Wagner Moura and Ricky.

Given the current global health scenario, jurors will see each of the presentations in their assigned category (video reports, animated films, and movies about nurses and midwives) from their homes. Different modes of communication and technology have made the process much easier for us, says Ricky, who is a member of the jury for the film segment on nurses and midwives.
