Arjun Kapoor to Aayush Sharma, B-city celebrities praise Varun Dhawan's rap on Coronavirus blockade

After Kartik Aaryan , Varun Dhawan took his instagram account to make a lock theme rap in an attempt to urge people to take the confinement seriously and practice social distancing to prevent the spread of coronavirus .

He created a peculiar video to support the rap song which featured him as the rap artist.The post was captioned as, '' Verified

As soon as he shared the video , celebs were all praises for the star. While Siddhant Chaturvedi wrote, ''Ha ha! Cheer-phaad “Homie” 🔥'', Badshah commented, ''Let them know varun da1''.

Apart from Varun, the video featured excerpts from Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's televised address in which he announced a nationwide confinement as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.

The video also featured a scene from British television series, a scene from Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer 'Devdas' and most importantly, country's deserted roads amid the confinement .

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Varun is set to team up with Sara Ali Khan for the 'Coolie No. 1' remake. The film is directed by his father David Dhawan and is currently slated to open on May 1. He will also team up with Sriram Raghavan for 'Ekkis'.
