Coronavirus outbreak has affected Bollywood in a big way From celebrities who avoid international travel to cancellation of filming schedules abroad, the health scare continues to affect B-town. And according to a news portal, the creators of Ranveer singh starrer 83 We planned a massive trailer launch event in the city, but we have canceled the same. Ranveer Deepika Padukone director Kabir Khan and India's former cricketer captain Kapil Dev were expected to attend the gala launch event which was to be hosted on March 11. Amidst the Coronavirus scare everyone has been advised to avoid crowded plans and reportedly the makers of '83 decided to avoid hosting a packed event .
‘83 is a sports drama based on Indian cricket team's iconic win during the 1983 World Cup. The team was led by Kapil Dev and Ranveer singh will step into his onscreen character now. Deepika Padukone will essay the role of his wife, Romi Dev.
The film also features Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar, Jiiva as K Srikkanth, Saqib Saleem as Mohinder Amarnath, Jatin Sarna as Yashpal Sharma, Chirag Patil as Sandeep Patil, Dinker Sharma as Kirti Azad, Nishant Dahiya as Roger Binny, Harrdy Sandhu as Madan Lal, Sahil Khattar as Syed Kirmani, Ammy Virk as Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Addinath M Kothare as Dilip Vengsarkar, Dhairya Karwa as Ravi Shashtri, R Badree as Sunil Valson and Pankaj Tripathi as PR Man Singh. To83 is scheduled to arrive on the screens on April 10.
