Rajasthan: the man, who was injured after the jeep was set on fire, dies

BIKANER: One of the two men who were seriously injured after their jeep was burned by criminals in the city died during the treatment on Monday, police said.

They said Shanti Lal, 30, succumbed to burns at the PBM government hospital.

On Sunday, seven or eight defendants stopped the jeep in which the four men were traveling and set the vehicle on fire after fueling a dispute. Two of the men had received burns.

Police said no one has been arrested so far and the teams are trying to track them.

Meanwhile, Lal's relatives said they will not accept his body unless the defendants are arrested.

Ajit Singh's condition, who is admitted to the hospital, is stable, police said.

The primary investigation reveals that Ajit Singh and others had beaten a man in the village of Ugamsar some time ago and that the defendant wanted to take revenge on it.
