Vikram and Ajay Gananamuthu take on the challenge of filming for 'Cobra' in Russia before the spread of the coronavirus

The first glimpse of the next Vikram movie ' Cobra ', directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, was launched a few weeks ago and generated a stir. In the poster Vikram is seen in seven different looks. And as per latest reports, Vikram and Ajay Gananamuthu have taken on the challenge of shooting in Russia for 'Cobra' while the deadly Coronavirus It spreads all over the world.

Director Ajay Gananamuthu has shared a picture with Vikram as well as fans from Russia on his Instagram page. While most filmmakers have cancelled their foreign schedules as a precaution against the spreading Coronavirus , Vikram and Ajay Gananamuthu have decided to go ahead with their Russia schedule as they want to wrap up the film’s shoot anyhow and as soon as possible. It must be noted that there have been 15 confirmed cases of Coronavirus infections reported in Russia till now.

Ajay Gananamuthu and Vikram recently completed the Kolkata schedule of ‘ Cobra ’ and took off to Russia to shoot some major portions of reportedly the climax scene. ' Cobra ' also stars Srinidhi Shetty, cricketer Irfan Pathan and KS Ravikumar in crucial roles, while the film has music scored by AR Rahman. The film is produced by Lalit Kumar's Seven Screen Studio, and it is expected to be released in May 2020.
