Don't panic, says Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the review meeting
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Tuesday he reviewed the country's readiness to face a possible outbreak and told people not to panic. Different ministries and states are working together, from the detection of people arriving in India to immediate medical attention, he wrote on Twitter.
“There is no need to panic. We need to work together, take small but important measures to guarantee self-protection, ”said Modi. He also shared a warning about basic protective measures that people can take to avoid getting the virus, such as washing their hands frequently; maintain social distancing; avoiding touching the eyes, nose and mouth; practice respiratory hygiene and seek medical attention as soon as possible if you have a fever, cough and shortness of breath.
