BJP’s women MPs, led by Union minister, too met Birla and complained of an alleged attack on Meena and Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje.

They said they were pushed by some opposition lawmakers, and Irani said this was a reflection of the desperation of the Gandhi family.

A first deputy, Haridas, in his complaint said: On March 2, at 3 pm, inside Lok sabha Deputy Meena physically assaulted me. Is this happening to me repeatedly just because I am a Dalit and a woman? I ask you to take action against that deputy.
