Three dead, 11 injured in explosion in eastern Afghanistan: Police

KHOST: A bombing in a soccer match killed three people and wounded another 11 on Monday in the east Afghanistan , a police officer told AFP, when the Taliban announced the end of a partial truce in the country.

A motorcycle manipulated with a bomb exploded during a football game, said Sayed Ahmad Babazai, chief of eastern police, when giving toll details.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. The limited truce preceded the signing of a historic agreement between him and Washington on Saturday.
