Mumbai: Sheeter from the story kills the wife on bail, arrested

MUMBAI: An informant who allegedly killed his wife the day he was released on bail after seven months in jail as a robbery on trial, Mumbai police said on Monday.

Nasim Ansari (32) saw his wife Yasmin moving in the Sewri area with another man on Thursday night and killed her in a rage attack near the toll booth at Mumbai Port Trust, an official said.

He had left the jail of Arthur Road Jail on Thursday after seven months after his arrest in a robbery case. We found Yasmin's body under the Eastern Highway in the MbPT toll area. On Friday we arrested Nasim from the Byculla vegetable market. said investigating officer Kiran Mandre.

Nasim has about 10 cases against his name, and now he has been charged with murder, Mandre said.
