Riteish Deshmukh in the Shivaji trilogy: we are working hard

Actor Riteish Deshmukh is excited to start rolling for his passion project in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and says the team is working hard. The multilingual trilogy will be directed by ' Sairat 'director Nagraj Manjule and backed by the production banner of Deshmukh, Mumbai Film Company.

When asked if he feels that the movie will get a boost due to the recent success of the historic 'Tanhaji', the actor and producer said that when any movie works, it is an encouraging sign that people are experiencing movies on the big screen.

I've been waiting to make this movie for a long time. I am extremely excited to collaborate with Nagraj, who is one of the best directors we have in the country.

Regarding the success of 'Tanhaji' or the success of any movie, I think it definitely adds to other movies because it gives a boost to historical movies or movies in general so that people go to the theater and come and experience in the large screen. We are working hard. Hopefully he is on the floor (soon), Deshmukh said in a group interview.

Meanwhile, the actor will appear in the protagonist of Tiger Shroff 'Baaghi 3'. The film will premiere on March 6.

Manjule's next director will be 'Jhund' with mega star Amitabh Bachchan. The movie has a release date of May 8.
