The first look poster of 'Kuruthi Aattam' was released on the occasion of the Pongal festival, and it received a great response. The film’s story mainly revolves around a sweet friendship that Atharvaa shares with a little girl. Touted to be a gangster drama, major portions of the film were shot in Madurai. After some delay, the shooting of the film resumed last month and now it has been wrapped up to be released in June after the summer break. But the exact release date has not yet been announced.
'Kuruthi Aattam' is directed by Sri Ganesh, who made his debut with the promising film '8 Thottakal'. The film features Atharvaa and Priya Bhavani Shankar in lead roles while child artist Divyadarshini , Radhika and Radha Ravi play crucial roles. The music of the movie is marked by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is produced by T Muruganantham under the banner of Rockfort Entertainment.
