Hyderabad University closes doors to stop student protest
HYDERABAD: Police closed all the doors of and (EFLU) here on Sunday and prevented students from leaving campus to join a protest against the riots in Delhi and CAA.
The students said they were about to participate in a protest in Karachi Bakery in solidarity with the victims of riots in Delhi and against CAA/NRC when the police found out and closed the doors. Some other students of the university team said that the police had informed them that they had received information about members of the group of right-wing students who planned to attack them if they participated in the protest.
Also, supposedly, students were prevented from leaving to participate in the protest.
