Gujarat's man and woman escape for the second time
SURAT: A middle-aged couple escaped once more, just over a month after they returned to their respective homes, their family sources said Sunday.
The couple, Himmat Pandav (46), a native of Surat and (43) of Navsari, had fled weeks before the scheduled marriage of their respective children in January of this year. They had returned with their respective families after two weeks, only to escape again, it seems.
Pandav and Raval left their respective homes on Saturday. They are reportedly staying in a rented house in Surat, sources said.
However, unlike the last time, no police complaint was filed about the duo's disappearance.
While Pandav resides in the Surat area, Raval comes from the city of.
On January 10, both disappeared and police complaints were filed to track them in Surat and Navsari, respectively.
When the couple disappeared for the first time, their relatives had said that Patel and Raval knew each other, since they both lived in the Katargam area when they were young, and Raval moved to Navsari after marriage.
After her return on January 26, Raval went to her father's house, after her husband refused to accept her.
