Cold conditions prevail in Himachal Pradesh; Manali and Kufri tremble at freezing temperatures

SHIMLA: conditions prevailed on Saturday with the main tourist spots that include Manali and trembling at freezing temperatures.

The minimum temperatures were two to three degrees below normal, the weather department said.

The Lahaul tribal district and the Spiti administrative center, Keylong, remained the coldest place in the state at minus 14.4 degrees Celsius. recorded a minimum of minus 5.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Kufri at minus 3.4 degrees Celsius and Manali minus 2.8 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperatures in Shimla & Dalhousie was 0.8 degrees celsius & 1.5 degrees celsius respectively. The highest temperature in the state was recorded in Una at 22.2 degrees celsius.

The weatherman has forecast rain, snowfall in higher reaches of the state on February 11 & 12.
