Thai soldier kills at least 10 in shooting

A Thai soldier killed at least 10 people in a shooting on Saturday in Nakhon Ratchasima, in the northeast of Thailand and still free, police said.

The soldier opened fire in different parts of the city, which is more than 250 km (155 miles) from Bangkok said police spokeswoman Kissana Phathanacharoen in a message to reporters.

The shooter remained near a mall and had not yet been arrested, police said.

Local media showed images of the soldier coming out of a car in front of a mall and shooting a series of shots, sending people to run. Shots were heard in the video.
