‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’: Ajay Devgn pays tribute to Tanhaji Malusare and his soldiers who captured Kondhana today 350 years ago

Ajay Devgn He made record collections at the box office with one of his most ambitious projects, ‘ Tanhaji: the warrior not sung ’. The movie that also starred Saif Ali Khan and Kajol in leading roles was also acclaimed by the audience and critics alike. Today, February 4, marks the day that Tanhaji Malusare and his captured soldiers Kondhana today 350 years ago in 1670. To commemorate the day, Ajay Devgn took to his Twitter handle to share the information with his fans.

Directed by Om Raut, the historical film featured Ajay in the titular role, Kajol as his wife - Savitribai Malusare, Saif Ali Khan as Udaybhan Rathod, the antagonist and Sharad Kelkar as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film is based on one of the bravest Maratha warrior Tanhaji Malusare and his battles.

He reached theaters on January 10, 2020, where he blocked the horns with ‘of Meghna Gulzar Chhapaak Starring Deepika Padukone.
